Rain Keeps Tow Truck Drivers Busy In Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — In hour 14 of Robert VanPraag's day, the driver with Natomas Towing has long given up trying to stay dry.

"Can't do nothin' about the rain—you're gonna get wet," he said.

"Once the first call hits the board, it's go go go," he said.

"If you're looking for accidents you're gonna find them today," said Wayne Boggs, who says he found two crashes right in front of his house.

Boggs picked up his son, who got in the accident.

VanPraag could be looking at long hours during the weekend. Besides slowing down and driving safe, he's hoping you'll keep one thing in mind.

"Just like Caltrans workers, police, firefighters, we all have families we wanna go home to. If you see us please move over it'd be nice," he said, laughing.
