Clipper Gap Road Closed As Investigators Search For Shooting Suspect
9:00 p.m. UPDATE: Police say Joseph De La Cruz was confronting a female employee with whom he had a relationship with and an argument ensued. At one point, investigators say he opened fire and wounded a male employee.
Police are wrapping up the search for the night.
Deputies are finishing the search in Clipper Gap. We do not believe the suspect is still in the area. The 'shelter in place' request is being lifted for Clipper Gap.

7:15 p.m. UPDATE: Investigators have found the truck linked to the alleged shooter, but it was abandoned.
Clipper Gap Road is closed just off of the Interstate 80 exit and the neighborhood has been placed on a shelter in place order while the search for the suspect continues.
A SWAT team and an armored vehicle are working on clearing the suspect's vehicle.

AUBURN (CBS13) — The search is on for a suspect in a shooting at an auto service center on Tuesday.
Police are looking for Joseph De La Cruz, 41, after a shooting at the Quick Lube Service Center in Auburn on Tuesday afternoon.
He was last seen driving a faded green 1992 Chevy 1500 4x4 with a license plate of 4M78945. It has a black rack and KC lights.

One person was transported to the hospital in the shooting. Their condition is unknown.
