Public Access To Old Emigrant Trail Banned For Two Years By Nevada County Supervisors

PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) — Just when hiking enthusiasts thought they were done fighting over a historic hiking trail in rural Nevada County, they found out the battle will go on for two more years.
The Nevada County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to ban public access to the old Emigrant Trail that runs through three subdivisions near Grass Valley.
People living near the trail say they don't want hikers on their property.
