Pot Grow Discovered At South Sacramento Home During Fire; 2 People Arrested

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two people are under arrest after a house fire this morning in South Sacramento.

Around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sacramento firefighters received the call of heavy smoke and flames coming from a home in the 4700 block of C Parkway.

Neighbors woke up the people who were inside the house.

"We tried to put the fire out with some hoses until the fire department came. We did see a grower operation in the back -- some ballasts and lights – probably an electrical fire that started it," said a neighbor.
