American River Parkway Fire Closes Trail
8:00 p.m. UPDATE: Fire officials say one fire fighter was treated at an area hospital for smoke inhalation. That person was released from the hospital and is doing well.
6:30 p.m. UPDATE: Sacramento Fire says the blaze has been contained. Crews will will remain on scene throughout the night mopping up.
4:45 p.m. UPDATE: Eastern spread of the fire has been stopped.
