Police: Woman Kidnapped In Front Of Stockton Business

10 p.m. Update: Police say that the woman has been found and is currently at the hospital meeting with officers.

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police are looking for a woman who looks to have been kidnapped in front of a Stockton business Thursday night.

Employees of the RadioShack along the 5900 block of Pacific Avenue told police that the woman walked into the business and asked to a use a phone. The woman then started getting emotional and distraught while talking to someone on the phone about drugs.

Soon, a dark grey Honda Accord coupe pulled up and the woman went outside. The woman was seen talking with the car's driver then trying to walk away, but a man with a gun then got out and pulled a handgun.

The armed man then reportedly yelled at the woman to get back in the car. Police say refused, but the man was seen grabbing her by the shoulder and pulling her into the car.

The suspects then drove away, last being seeing along Evelyn Avenue.

Police have identified the kidnapped woman as 32-year-old Lindsay Jenkins. She was last seen wearing a green sweater and black pants. Few details about the suspects have been released.
