Police: West Sacramento Man Found With Child Porn, Again

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man accused of taking pictures of children and having child pornography has been arrested again after a search.

David Smith was arrested after more child pornography was found during a search on Wednesday. He was previously released on his own recognizance, but subject to wearing an ankle monitor and a searches of his home and digital content.

He is now being held on $300,000 bail for his first charge and an additional $300,000 bail for the new arrest. He has a trial set for March 2017 on his first charge, but now also has a preliminary hearing on the new charge in January.

In September, parents confronted Smith when he was taking pictures of children at a little league game. They took his phone and found suspected child pornography on it.
