Police Uncover Stolen Mail, Drugs, Credit Cards Gun During Bust In Stockton

STOCKTON (CBS13) - Authorities recovered stolen items during a bust today, but say they found more than just mail.

Officers searched a home on Bonaire Circle near West Lane in Stockton this morning. There, they found mail from Stockton, Manteca and Brentwood in the East Bay. They also found narcotics and prescription drugs, a handgun, a credit card reader, credit cards, and evidence of shredded documents, according to a Stockton Police Department statement.

Police arrested two sisters in the bust, 37-year-old Zandra Fajardo and 36-year-old Margaret Fajardo.

Stockton police also found hundreds of pieces of stolen mail at another location they searched during the investigation. They found credit card skimmers, printers and valuables bought with the stolen information. Police believe the printers were used by the suspect to print fake checks.

They say this bust is unrelated to the one in which the sisters were arrested. Police are pursuing a known suspect in this case.
