Police: Stockton Home Invasion Suspects Posed As Law Enforcement Officers

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton Police are searching for a truck in a brutal home invasion robbery.

Police say four to five people came to the house on Thursday morning appearing to be sheriff's deputies and tied up the victims in the home. At least one person was hit with a stun gun.

Stockton Police say the men were dressed in what appeared to be sheriff's raid vests and made off with cash and marijuana.

"This was already a very violent home invasion robbery, but then when you add on top of that they were wearing Sheriff's raid vests, that's very concerning to us here," said police spokesman Joe Silva

The Stockton Police Department released a photo of the suspected getaway vehicle, described as a gray Toyota Tundra truck with a license place of 8L83847.
