Police Searching For Suspect In Matsui Park Killing

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police are investigating a homicide that happened in Matsui Park on Monday night.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday police received the report of an unresponsive man in the park, which is in the 400 block of Jiboom Street. Officers went to the park and found the 34-year-old man with trauma to his upper body. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to a police statement.

Detectives believe the man got into a fight and was fatally injured by the other person, who fled the scene.

No arrests have been made.
