Police Search For Driver Who Hit And Killed 60-Year-Old Man On Northgate

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The Sacramento Police Department is looking for the driver who hit and killed a 60-year-old man walking along Northgate Boulevard.

The incident happened just after 1 a.m. on Sunday. Sacramento Police say the man was walking north along the east side of Northgate Boulevard when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time, but he is described as an African American male adult who was walking with a cane in dark colored clothing.

There is no description of the suspect or vehicle he or she was driving. Police ask if you have any information about the case to call their Hit and Run Tip Line at (916) 808-3060. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
