Police Respond To Elk Grove Winco Parking Lot Due To Suspect In Car
UPDATE: Officers have been "unable to verify a crime took place" and are now leaving the area, police say.
The car was allowed to leave the scene.

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A suspect who is refusing to get out of a car has police responding to the Winco parking lot in Elk Grove.
Elk Grove Police says they were called about a disturbance Thursday morning. A car possibly associated with the report was soon spotted in the area and was stopped at the Winco parking lot along the 8100 block of Sheldon Road.

Police say a passenger came out of the car, but the driver is refusing to come out.
A preschool, Prestige Academy, in the area is on lockdown due to the police activity nearby.
Avoid the area for the time being, police say.
