Police: Person Hit, Killed Trying To Cross Street Against Red Light

FOOTHILL FAMRS (CBS13) – Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian accident in Sacramento County.

It happened near Elkhorn and Andrea Boulevards.

Officials say four people were crossing against the red light just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Three made it to the center median, but when the fourth person tried to catch up he was hit by two vehicles.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene. Officials have not released his identity.

The other three pedestrians reportedly fled the scene.
