Police: Bicyclist Hit, Killed By Light Rail Train At College Greens Station

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities say a person was hit and killed by a train Thursday morning.

The scene is near Folsom Boulevard and Florin Perkins Road at the College Greens station.

Police say a bicyclist, identified as a man, was killed in the incident. Officers say that he ignored warning signs and went past train crossing guards while riding his bike.

Light rail service had been disrupted by the accident, but service has since resumed.
