Police: Pedestrian Hit, Killed By Light Rail Train Near Downtown Sacramento
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say a train struck and killed a pedestrian near downtown Sacramento Friday morning.
The scene is near 12th and C Streets.
Norm Leong with the Sacramento Police Department confirms the pedestrian died after being by a RT light rail train. A bus bridge has been put in place between Alkali Flats and Arden/Del Paso stops due to the incident.

It is unclear why the person was on the tracks. Police are still investigating the incident.
