Roseville police say two motorcycles and another vehicle were involved, but exactly what led up to the crash is unclear.
Due to the crash investigation, northbound Sunrise from Cirby and southbound Sunrise were closed.
"It's never been this crazy out here," said one woman who came across the scene "[I] saw them with yellow tape earlier across the entire road."
The investigation is still preliminary, but police have said the person who died was a man who was riding one of the bikes. The other motorcyclist was also injured, suffering serious injuries.
There has still been no word on the cause of the crash.
