Police: Man Robbed At Gunpoint, Was Trying To Sell Cough Syrup

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a man trying to sell his cough syrup was robbed at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened near Harding and San Juan Avenues just before 5:30 p.m. According to the Stockton Police Department, a man was trying to sell his cough syrup and had apparently gotten in the car of some prospective buyers.

However, the deal soon went sour after one suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the man to just hand over the cough syrup.

Police say the man gave up his property and was let out of the car. The suspects were last seen driving down San Juan Avenue.
