Police: Man Intentionally Hit Woman With Car Twice

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say a man intentionally hit a woman out walking with his car twice during a violent incident in Stockton late Saturday night.

Officers were first alerted about the situation just before 10:30 p.m. According to the Stockton Police Department, a woman called to report that a man had just rammed his car into her car near El Dorado Street and Harding Way.

The man reportedly blew a kiss at her and then drove off, but the woman decided to follow him.

Near March Lane and Pacific Avenue, the man reportedly aimed his car at a woman out walking and hit her. The force of the impact knocked the woman onto the hood of his car.

Police say that the man – identified as 30-year-old Farren Deshawn Green – then cursed at the woman and hit her again once she fell off of his hood.

Green then drove onto the parking lot of a Red Lobster and crashed into several parked cars. It was at the parking lot that police tried to pull him over, but Green would not stop. Instead, he led police on a 10 minute chase that ended near Anne and Seventh Street in south Stockton.

Officers were able to stop the chase by using a PIT maneuver.

Green has been arrested and is now facing counts of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and DUI.
