Police Arrest Elk Grove Man Suspected Of Lewd Acts With A Child

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - A man wanted for lewd acts with a child charges is on the run, police say.
Detectives were investigating 38-year-old Ronald Edward Northrup II on multiple counts of lewd acts upon a child, Elk Grove police say. Detectives tried to serve a search warrant at his home on Thursday, but he wasn't there. Detectives called him and he has allegedly refused to turn himself in.
Northrup could be hiding in the Sacramento area and may be driving a 2006 Ford Escape with the California plate number 6GHW864. Detectives note Northrup has access to firearms, but it's not known if he has them right now.
