Police Investigate Threat Against El Dorado High School Student

PLACERVILLE (CBS13) - A school bus heading to El Dorado High School on Monday morning was stopped following reports of a threat.

Before school on Monday Placerville police received the report of threats against a student. As a result, officers stopped a bus that was headed to the school; after they determined there was no threat, police allowed it to continue to school, according to El Dorado High School Principal Chas Prior.

"These types of incidents are always taken very seriously, and we immediately began working hand-in-hand with law enforcement," said Prior. "We are currently gathering all of the facts regarding this matter."

School administrators are continuing their investigation.
