Suspicious Device In Midtown Sacramento Was Empty PVC Pipe

SACRAMENTO (CBSSacramento.com) - Police say a suspicious object found in the area 29th and H streets turned out to be harmless.

Sacramento Police Department's bomb squad was called out to investigate the device, which later turned out to be a piece of PVC pipe.

Area streets were expected to reopen shortly.
