Police: Drunk Driver Gets Truck Stuck On Railroad Tracks

MADERA (CBS13) – A man suspected of driving drunk somehow got his pickup truck stuck on railroad tracks.

Madera Police say a truck was spotted on the railroad tracks near Pine and Fourth Streets late Thursday night.  The truck was stuck on the tracks, police say.

The driver of the truck, 46-year-old Gerald Walter, was soon arrested under suspicion of driving drunk. Walter's truck had to be towed off the tracks, police say.

Walter was booked at Madera County Jail and faces DUI charges.
