Police: Driver Who Drifted On Roseville Street Has Car Towed, Impounded

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) - Police impounded the car and cited a driver suspected of drifting on a Roseville street.

The incident happened last Thursday night. Roseville police say several residents in the 900 block of Pleasant Grove Boulevard area called in to report an informal car meet making a lot of noise.

When police got to the scene, officers saw a crowd of onlookers lining the road and cars driving recklessly and peeling out.

Officers zeroed in on one driver who was seen drifting across Highland Pointe Drive. That driver was stopped, cited for reckless driving, and had his car towed.

The car will now be impounded for 30 days, with the driver having to pay for towing and storage charges.
