Police: Construction Workers The Victim Of Drive-By Paintballing

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Authorities are on the lookout for whoever fired paintballs into a group of construction workers.

The incident happened early Tuesday afternoon near Frankin Boulevard and Sutterville Road. According to the Sacramento Police Department construction workers and a Sacramento Fire employee were in the area when a small sedan pulled up.

Police say someone in the car then started firing at the group, hitting one of the construction workers in the leg.

No one was seriously hurt.

Detectives have not identified any possible suspects. They are continuing to investigate the incident.
