Police: Clerk Pepper Sprayed During Robbery At Roseville Liquor Store

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Police in Roseville are asking for help in finding a man who pepper sprayed a liquor store clerk during a robbery Tuesday night.

According to the Roseville Police Department, the robbery happened at a liquor store along the 5100 block of Foothills Boulevard. Police say a man walked into the store with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect took money from the cash register and also took the clerk's personal property.

Police say that the suspect then pushed the clerk to the ground and pepper-sprayed him in his face.

The suspect, who was caught on surveillance cameras, was last seen walking north toward McAnally Drive. Roseville Police have released a photo of the suspect, but his face is covered.

Paramedics treated the clerk for the pepper spray attack, but police say the clerk declined any further treatment.
