Playboy Model Could Face Charges In Body Shaming Case

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles city attorney says police have given him the case of a Playboy model who took a photo of a naked woman in a gym locker room and posted it to social media with insulting comments about the woman's body.

City Attorney Mike Feuer said Monday that his office expects to make a final decision soon on whether to file charges against Dani Mathers.

Feuer tells ABC News (http://abcn.ws/2cv7olO) the case was handed over after police investigators finally were able to find the woman Mathers mocked.

The 29-year-old Mathers faced widespread criticism after she shared the photo on Snapchat in July with the caption: "If I can't unsee this then you can't either." She later apologized and deleted her social media accounts.

The gym, LA Fitness, reported the posting to police and has revoked Mathers' membership.
