Fire & Rescue comes out on Blu-ray on November 4th, 2014. Planes 2 is the second installment, following Planes. This movie feels very low budget and it is not hard to tell that it was originally intended to be straight to DVD. That said, it was still extremely profitable in theaters and continues to be a franchise children under 10 love.

This movie does have some big name voice overs such and Dane Cook and Julie Bowen which increase it's cinematic feel. As does the use of other cinematic techniques such as transitions and sound effects. But DisneyToon Studios comes no where near the quality in comparison to Disney Animation and Pixar Animation. The storytelling is generic and underwhelming. One thing you can take away in particular are the wonderfully impressive fire effects. The artists and sound designers must have really loved these scenes because they stand out above all in the movie.

As mediocre Planes 2 is as a whole, most children will be very excited to watch it.
