Placer County Industrial Fire Sending Dark Smoke Into Skies South Of Lincoln
LINCOLN (CBS13) — A large fire is burning just south of the city of Lincoln.
Cal Fire spokesman Daniel Berlant says the fire is burning at Sierra Rock Landscaping Materials on Athens Avenue, west of Highway 65, as well as a nearby field.
The fire is sending up a large, dark plume of smoke as it burns through pallets and vehicles at the business.
The fire is burning less than a mile from Thunder Valley Casino Resort.
