Pizza Rock Hires Sacramento Homeless Man Who Refused To Beg For Money

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A Sacramento man who made headlines for handing out his resume instead of asking people for cash has found a job.

Executives at Pizza Rock say Frederick Callison's experience was all they needed to see before they decided to give him a shot.

The 52-year-old started work at the restaurant on K Street on Thursday.

CBS13 spoke to Callison on Feb. 26 when he spent the better part of his days perched outside the Smart & Final at Watt Avenue and Arden Way with a will to work and a resume in hand.

Callison been able to print all of his resumes at a nearby business that has allowed him to use some of their office space from time to time.
