Person Stabbed To Death In Isleton

ISLETON (CBS13) – The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened in Isleton Sunday night.

Deputies were called to the 14800 block of Highway 160 through Isleton, sheriff's spokesperson Lisa Bowman says. At the scene, deputies found that some sort of fight had taken place that led to one person being stabbed.

The person who was stabbed was pronounced dead at the scene. Bowman says the victim and the attacker knew each other.

Monday morning, authorities announced that 49-year-old Isleton resident Jeffrey Reimche had been arrested on a charge of murder for the incident.
