Penryn Fire Is Out, Grew To Five Acres

4:15 Update: The Placer Sheriff announced that the fire is out. CAL FIRE is doing mop-up of the area.

3:30 Update: Fire is still 5 acres. PG&E has responded to a downed power line.

PENRYN (CBS 13) — A fire broke out in Placer County Saturday afternoon and is now five acres.

Firefighters said no structures have been damaged and no injuries have been reported.

The firefighters' biggest concern is a pile of tires burning.

CAL FIRE and Placer Fire are on the scene. Air resources have been called.
