Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Richards Boulevard Off-Ramp
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Richards Boulevard off-ramp is blocked due to an accident that has claimed the life of one person.
The incident happened around 5:16 a.m. Friday. A taxi cab hit a pedestrian at the Richards Boulevard off-ramp from southbound Interstate 5.
California Highway Patrol says the pedestrian was taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Investigators say the pedestrian, only identified as a woman, jumped in front of the taxi.
It is unclear how long the off-ramp will be closed.
