Patient Robber Hits Stockton Convenience Store Twice In Two Weeks

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Twice in two weeks, a robber has walked into the same convenience store in Stockton, but one of those times was unlike any other robbery.

The video may look like just about any other convenience store robbery, but in three minutes, you'll see the armed robber is in no hurry.

Ten seconds after ordering the clerk to hand over the cash, the bandit walks behind the counter and realizes there's a problem. The cash register, which is tied to a computer, will not open. The clerk had logged off and had to log back in to get it working.

A minute and a half later, the crook walks back around the counter and waits.

Two and a half minutes later, a customer walks in and the crook allows her to walk up to the counter to pay for something.

Finally, after almost three minutes, the computer kicks on and the cash register opens. The bandit's three minutes of patience paid off and she didn't walk away empty-handed.

Now police are hoping this surveillance footage will bring her to justice.
