Pacquiao-Mayweather Fight Could Happen In May

The superfight boxing fans have long been waiting for could finally happen this year.

Rumors are that a fight on May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas would have Floyd Mayweather defending his perfect 47-0 record against arguably his biggest challenge to date in Manny Pacquiao. According to Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole, Pacquiao's camp has agreed to the terms set forth by Mayweather's camp.

This is the most serious a potential fight has gotten since 2009 when Mayweather requested a last-minute blood test that Pacquiao declined, nullifying any chance at a bout.

This time, however, no such demand has been made. Instead, Mayweather wants the split of the winnings to be 60/40 in favor of himself. Manny Pacquiao has agreed and now we wait on the final decision from Mayweather himself, as his camp has already agreed on everything.
