One Dead, Suspects At Large In Novato Attack

NOVATO (CBS13) - Authorities in the Bay Area are searching for suspects involved in a deadly shooting and stabbing involving two high school students.

Novato police found the first student shot and stabbed along Fairway Drive late Wednesday afternoon. The student says he was assaulted by three Hispanic men.

Not far away, authorities found a second student dead.

Some neighbors say they saw a white sedan speeding from the scene.

Novato High School is now closed Thursday morning. School officials say they are working closely with law enforcement.

Counselors will be on campus all of next week.
