Olivehurst Man Accused Of Murdering Brother With Ice Pick, Dismembering Body

OLIVEHURST (CBS13) — An Olivehurst man is facing a first-degree murder charge after police say he killed his brother with an ice pick.

Police say Timothy Lynn Coop stabbed his older brother with an ice pick before dismembering his body and disposing the pieces in garbage bags.

Coop was booked into Yuba County Jail on no bail.

Hearings are scheduled for next week.
