Officer-Involved Shooting Reported In Downtown Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Sacramento police are reporting an officer-involved shooting in downtown Sacramento.

The shooting happened in the 100 block of Seavey Circle and stemmed from a domestic violence call at around 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to a police statement.

Police say they fired at the suspect after he allegedly threatened to physically harm the officers. It's unknown how many officers were involved in the shooting or what exactly led up to the shooting.

Officers have not identified the suspect, nor have they commented on the suspect's condition.

Seavey circle is located just a few hundred feet southeast of Miller Park.
