NorCal NBA Stars Shine in Gold Medal Game
RIO DE JANEIRO (CBS13) -- The United States Men's Basketball team secured its third consecutive Olympic Gold Medal Sunday with a 96-66 win over Serbia, CBS Sports reports.
Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins scored 13 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds in the finale. New Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant lead all scorers with 30 points.
NBA MVP Stephen Curry congratulated his countrymen and fellow NBAers with a tweet shortly after the game.

The players will now turn their attention to NBA training camps, which begin in late September. Cousins and the Kings will begin their first season in the Golden 1 Center in Downtown Sacramento, while Durant will play his first season with the Golden State Warriors.
