Investigation Underway After Fire At Sacramento Crematorium

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A fire broke out in south Sacramento a crematorium early Tuesday morning.

Sacramento Fire Department crews say an employee showed up for work at Nor-Cal Crematory just after 2 a.m. and found the building full of smoke.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire.

It's believed materials used in the cremation process may be to blame, firefighters say.

No one was hurt.
