Nobody Died In This Violent Elk Grove Crash
ELK GROVE (CSB13) — A driver is expected to survive a single car crash that left a vehicle unrecognizable.
Investigators expected Elk Grove Boulevard to remain closed for hours as they investigate what led to the crash and try to clean up the aftermath.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. near Stonelake Club Drive when a driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree, splitting the car in four pieces.

Elk Grove police provided a photo of a brutal scene showing the remains of the vehicle strewn about the road.

Despite the grisly sight, police say the victim suffered major injuries, but is expected to survive.
Update: The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision on Elk Grove Blvd. suffered non-life- threatening injuries. Roads still closed.
