Nine Inch Nails, QOTSA, Dave Grohl & Lindsey Buckingham to Perform at GRAMMY Finale

The 2014 GRAMMY Awards plan to close the night out with a hail of guitars from some of the foremost rockers in the world. To round off what is already a spectacular lineup of performers, Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Lindsey Buckingham will perform together and close out the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards this Sunday.
The latest addition of performers comes at the heels of the announcement that Jay Z and Beyoncé will hit the GRAMMY stage, as well. At this point, it'd be easier to say who is not performing at this year's GRAMMY awards.
As SPIN reports, GRAMMY executive producer Ken Ehrlich was excited about the announcement, saying in a statement that this "is going to turn out to be one of those Grammy moments that people talk about for a long time."
With all four of these performers have no more than two degrees separation from each other —with Grohl having performed on QOTSA's Songs for the Deaf and Nine Inch Nails' With Teeth, and Buckingham having played on Nine Inch Nails Hesitation Marks for one — the coming together of the four is almost obvious synergy. At least a little more on the nose than when Foo Fighters performed with Deadmau5 in 2012. It will be the first-ever Grammy telecast performance for Nine Inch Nails and QOTSA.
