Newest Sacramento Police K9 Hails From Holland

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Police Department has enlisted the help of a dog who hails all the way from Holland.

"Ike," a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois, has been in training since he got to Sacramento back in spring. According to the Sacramento Police Canine Association, Ike finished his training this week and will soon be on the streets with his partner Officer Dustin Henderson.

Ike's training includes patrol, explosives and article searching, the canine association says.
