New Suspect Arrested In Davis Nightclub Stabbing; 1 More Still Sought

DAVIS (CBS13) — A third suspect in a deadly Davis nightclub stabbing has been arrested, while another suspect is still sought. Davis Police announced on Friday.

The stabbing at KetMoRee in the early morning hours of Saturday claimed the life of 22-year-old Peter Gonzalez from Hacienda Heights.

Four suspects from Vacaville were sought in the crime, and Davis police described them as associates of the Norteno street gang.

Police arrested Victor Manuel Acosta Vergara, 22, on Friday. Until his arrest, police had not identified him as a suspect in Gonzalez's death.

In addition to Vergara's arrest, police also found narcotics, large sums of money and a firearm.

Martin Contreras, 25, was arrested on Saturday in connection with the homicide on Saturday. Zackary Thomas Sandeno, 21, turned himself in on Monday.

Joseph Gregory Sandeno, 20, is still being sought for the crime.
