New Service At Sacramento's Central Library Helps Vets And Their Families Find Benefits

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Veterans in Sacramento now have a new resource: The library.

The Central Library in downtown Sacramento will open a "War Comes Home" exhibit next week.

Also opening is a veteran's resource station staffed by volunteers. They will help vets and their families find benefits and other resources.

"Our resources and benefit information is not age-specific, so vets that recently came out of service, to Vietnam vets and WWII are welcome to take resources that are available to them," said Librarian John Esquidele.

The station is funded by a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act.
