New Flags Donated To West Sacramento VFW Targeted By Thieves

WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A West Sacramento veterans group that's been the target of thieves is getting some brand new flags.

Someone has stolen several flags from outside the Veterans of Foreign Wars post on Drever Street, most recently Tuesday night.

It's happened three times recently, with five flags stolen in all.

On Friday, Sacramento Flag Works will donate new flags and help the group make sure they're secure.

The VFW says it's also re-positioning its security cameras to try to catch on video anyone who may try to take the flags again.
