Multiple Vehicle Collision Slows Down EB I-80 Near I-5
NATOMAS (CBS13) — A multiple-vehicle collision caused major backups on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 just before the Interstate 5 interchange.
A spokesperson from CHP North Sac said four vehicles were involved in the crash that was reported around 4:15 p.m. on Friday. One person was transported with minor injuries.
Two lanes of I-80 were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. It is expected to reopen around 5:30 p.m.
