SACRAMENTO — Multiple homes in Sacramento's Oak Park neighborhood were damaged in a fire Sunday afternoon.

The Sacramento Fire Department said it happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. along Solidad Way, between Broadway and 4th Avenue.

A total of three homes were damaged in the fire, according to officials.

No one was injured in the fire, but Dannea Fry was home sitting in her bedroom when the flames broke out.

"I look up and I just see a huge cloud of smoke coming from my backyard. I run to the backyard the whole thing is engulfed, my shed was completely gone," Fry said. "I saw my motorcycle back there so I immediately dipped in case that blew up."

Now Fry is trying to figure out where to go from here. All her belongings were placed out in front, salvaged by firefighters that threw tarps down as they attacked the attic fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

In a separate incident nearby on 39th Street, another home caught fire just hours later. Sacramento firefighters were on that scene shortly before 5:30 p.m.

The cause of the fire is also unknown at this time, and it is unclear if it is related to the fire that damaged the other three homes.
