Motorcyclist eclipses 135 miles per hour during Sacramento chase, CHP says

SACRAMENTO — A motorcycle was impounded after the driver eclipsed 135 miles per hour while trying to evade law enforcement during a recent chase in the Sacramento area, authorities said Thursday.

California Highway Patrol

California Highway Patrol's North Sacramento division said the dangerous nature of the chase forced officers to stop pursuing the driver.

Despite that, officers were later able to identify the driver and locate him along with the motorcycle.

The driver received a citation and law enforcement officials seized the motorcycle, CHP said.
