Fairfield Police Identify Teen Shot And Killed Over Weekend
Fairfield police are seeking the public's help in identifying the person who shot and killed teenage girl over the weekend.
Police received multiple reports at 1:20 a.m. Saturday of gunshots in the area of the 1400 block of Phoenix Drive, according to Fairfield police Lt. Stephen Crane. Police went to the densely populated area, but did not see anything.
At 4:15 a.m. the same day, police received a call that someone had been shot and killed. The victim, 16-year-old Naomy Rojas, of Fairfield, was found between the south fence of a nearby apartment complex and the railroad tracks.
Officers believe there were several witnesses to the shooting.
