Mom Accused Of Killing Baby Appears Briefly In Woodland Court

WOODLAND (CBS13) - Samantha Green, the woman accused of killing her 20-day-old infant in February, was back in court this morning.

It was a short and brief court appearance for Samantha at the Woodland courthouse. She was in the courtroom before her family showed up. And when they did arrive, family members and Samantha made brief eye contact and Samantha turned away.

The judge appeared around 8:35. It was a two-minute appearance for Samantha during which a new court hearing was set for April 13.

We caught up to Samantha's father, Randy Green, outside of the courthouse who said it hurt to see his daughter in this situation.

"It hurts; it hurts. But you know, I don't know what's happening, but however long it takes is how long it will takes," he said.
The body of her son, Justice, was found in Knights Landing Slough.
